Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
New labor pension fund system has been effective since July 1st of 2005. All employees of LCYT have been selected NEW labor pension system. Each month, LCYT pays 6% of each individual’s wage into individual pension accounts set up by the Bureau of Labor Insurance. Those who wish to voluntarily pay into their pension accounts can also have a specified amount deducted each month from their pay and paid into their individual pension account with the Bureau of Labor Insurance.
We set up the Employee Benefit Saving Trust to make the lives of employees more financially secure after retirement. The Plan entails purchase of company stock by employees every month using a certain percentage of their pay and company fund in the form of employee bonus. This system aims at retaining employees while helping them prepare financially for retirement.
Psychological counseling
We provide one-on-one psychological counseling service so employees who face personal challenges in life can communicate their problems with a professional counselor in a secure and warm environment.
Massage service
Realizing the needs of our hard-working employees and to provide more job opportunities for disadvantaged groups, we ask Taipei City Welfare Association for the Visually Impaired to arrange visually impaired masseuses to come to our company and provide regular massage service for our employees. This service is unanimously praised.
Compensation and Benefits
Employee Welfare Committee
We have founded the Employee Welfare Committee on Jun. 26, 2000 and it is in charge of the planning and implementation of various welfare projects. The committee has 7 members, who are composed of 1 ex officio member from business units and 6 members selected by employees. The ex officio member is not subject to term restrictions, while the remaining members will serve a term of 3 years.
In order to carry out the idea of caring for our employees, besides providing bonuses on three major festivals (Chinese New Year, Lunar Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival) and giving out a birthday bonus on associate’s birthday, group activities and other welfare measures and subsidies are also available.
